"#TBT I grew up with negative writing all over the bathroom walls at school," she wrote in a powerful post. "I will never forget reading all the harsh things written about me. It was in that moment I chose not to believe what others thought of me. I knew if people were taking the time to write on the walls about me I must be something special. It was my first time I recall changing my perception from fear to love. #miracle Still to this day I have affirmations all over my apartment. A powerful lesson for me was to not believe what others thought of me, only to believe what I knew was true about myself. I am light. I am love. F*** the haters."
Billie has flipped the script on the bullies of her past by literally surrounding herself with phrases that empower her, like, "Weird is RAD," "Love Yourself," and "Be You! Be Free!"
