Is This the Hardest Quickfire Challenge in Top Chef History?

We think it might be, but it’s also the most delicious...

During last night's all-new Top Chef, the Cheftestants were woken up at the crack of dawn by Padma Lakshmi and last season's Top Chef winner, Brooke Williamson. They were challenged with cooking up a mouthwatering breakfast dish featuring Nutella hazelnut spread. The big twist (in addition to being woken up and immediately having to compete in a Quickfire challenge without any coffee or breakfast of their own) is that all of the Cheftestants had the challenge of having to create their breakfast dish in very, very close, tight quarters — the small kitchen in their shared home. But that only seemed to give the chefs an extra boost of creativity to whip up some very tasty dishes.

How to Watch

Watch Top Chef on Bravo and next day on Peacock.

From crepes to waffles, all of the chefs incorporated Nutella in really creative and inventive ways. A lot of the chefs used Nutella to create sweet, scrumptious plates, but the winner of the challenge actually used Nutella in a very unique way creating a sweet, spicy, and savory dish which has our mouths watering just thinking about it.

We dare you to try to watch a highlight of the Quickfire in the video above before you run out and grab your own bottle of Nutella!
