Which Hotel Would Curtis Stone Live in Forever if He Could?
And who could blame the Top Chef Jr. for dreaming?
Curtis Stone is a well-traveled chef and bon vivant who has been around the world — with one surprising and exceedingly awesome travel essential in tow — but there's one hotel he'd love to check into and never leave.
"The one hotel that I could just move to and live in forever would be the Delano in Miami," he tells Jet Set (clip above). "I love that place. There's a beautiful big pool, its a real short walk to that white sandy beach, you can stay in a bungalow right down near the beach — I love it!"
He forgot to mention the super blue water, too.
The Delano is an art deco wonder named after President Franklin Delano Roosevelt that originally opened in 1947 and was refreshed by star designer Phillippe Starck in 1995. It has been a celebrity favorite on South Beach for decades.
Fun fact: If fellow chef and traveler Anthony Bourdain could live in just one hotel... it would be one clear across the country on the opposite coast.
Catch Curtis in the kitchen with Top Chef Jr., which premieres on October 13 on Universal Kids. Meanwhile, stay tuned for Top Chef Season 15, returning soon to Bravo.
