Gizelle on That Hair Salon Break Down
"Even Super Woman has to take her cape off and just take a break."
Bravotv.com: Tell us about the rest of this clash on the street and how you were feeling when it ended.
Gizelle Bryant: This was the funniest non-fight that I have ever seen. Monique Samuels invitedRobyn Dixon to say something in her face and Robyn graciously accepted. Monique clearly wasn't ready, so she reverted to what she always does best, insults and talking about money.
Bravotv.com: What do you think about Monique breaking down after that clash about thinking she met real friends? Did you realize she was so hurt?
GB: In order to be a friend you have to show yourself as friendly. I really think those tears had more to do with the fact that she was embarrassed. She got into an altercation that she started and invited Robyn to participate in. Truth be told I was hurt, too, I got kicked out of ANOTHER party.
Bravotv.com: What do you think of Karen Huger comparing Monique’s clash to her own with you and Robyn about her taxes – the term "bullies" was used.
GB: Now, Karen is mixing apples and oranges, or maybe she just can't tell me and Robyn apart. Once again, I had NOTHING to do with this Scent Event Brawl, that was Robyn. Now I had EVERYTHING to do with tee shirt press conference, that was NOT Robyn. Last I checked, Robyn and I are two different people, not the same person in two different bodies.
Bravotv.com: We see you really vulnerable this week at the hair salon – tell us about what was going through your head at this moment. What is it like watching it now?
GB: Every single day of my life I have a tremendous amount on my plate that I'm happy, and blessed about. However, some days it can be a little overwhelming. I'm strong, confident and courageous but even Super Woman has to take her cape off and just take a break.
Bravotv.com: What do you think about Ashley Darby’s apology to Monique and that sit down in general? Do you think Robyn should have been there too being so involved outside?
GB: I'm happy that Ashley and Monique could hash out their ability to count. Clearly, they both learned how in the 1st grade so it's nice to see that they remembered and have agreed on the number of drinks... or not. However, the apologizing seemed to be one-sided, didn't Monique need to cough up an "I'm sorry" for the name calling and extra-terrestrial behavior. Clearly, Ashley shouldn't hold her breath, and yes, where was Robyn? She should have been there so that Monique could cough up an apology to her, too.
