Karen Huger struts the streets of Potomac with her head held high, and the title "Grand Dame" tucked under her Louis Vuitton belt. Lately, the queen's been given a run for her money by castmate Charrisse Jackson Jordan -- especially during their trip to Bermuda. As Monique Samuels asked upon seeing Charrisse's suite: "Who's the Grand Dame?"
Karen Huger:
Firstly we have the self-declared Grand Dame herself: Karen Huger. Mrs. Huger is the queen of etiquette. Throwback to season one when she gave Gizelle Bryant a lesson on etiquette and left us with this gem:
As the hotly-contested host of Bermuda, Karen sent the ladies welcome baskets to each of their rooms equipped with fruit and a rather optimistic note. She's the hostess with the mostest.
Karen was full of surprises on this trip. That same night, she threw a candle-lit dinner for the ladies under a vibrant pink and orange sunset. Gombey dancers in traditional garb busted some moves with tribal music to enhance the atmosphere Karen helped create. This diva knows how to throw a dinner.
Then, Karen's husband "pulled a few strings" and got her on a sailboat with the oh-so-exclusive Team Japan, who sail in the American Cup. Talk about a once in a lifetime opportunity. However, it was an opportunity only half the ladies got to enjoy.
Close your legs to maritime men!
Oh, and how could we forget? She flew her hairdresser to Bermuda, because what's a beach vacation with humidity-induced beach hair?
Charrisse Jackson Jordan:
Cha-cha might not have King "Black Bill Gates" by her side, but definitely, knows she's a queen.
Charrisse straight balled out for this Bermuda trip. No one was there to throw her a happy anniversary or birthday bash, so she took matters into her own hands and booked herself a two-story suite. Swag.
While Karen took Gizelle Bryant and Monique Samuels on the pimped-out sailboat, Charrisse treated Ashley Darbyand Robyn Dixon to a day of jet skis.
The treats didn't stop there. Charrisse flew her makeup artist, Gregory, to the island and had him glam-up the other ladies as well.
To round it off, she literally tipped someone with a $50 bill like it was NBD.
