Everything The Real Housewives of Potomac Did on Their Season 3 Trip to Glam Cannes
The Real Housewives of Potomac deepen their "bond like never before" — in paradise on the French Riviera!
The Real Housewives of Potomac headed to Cannes for their Season 3 trip, and we'd kill to have tucked into one of their suitcases to go along on what sounded like an amazing getaway. Press play on the clip above for a sneak peek of the ladies from paradise!
From the start, Monique Samuels and Charrisse Jackson Jordan opted to upgrade to first class for their flight to Nice from the States; upon landing there, everyone rode to Cannes via helicopter, where every seat is coach. They checked into the Hotel Martinez Cannes, a five-star luxury property.
The next day, Monique, Charrisse, Candiace Dillard, Karen Huger, and Ashley Darby opted to check out Distillerie Florihana, an essential oil company where they saw how the oils are made, testing them out for Monique’s Not For Lazy Moms blog. Meanwhile, Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant walked around Boulevard de la Croisette on the Cannes shoreline for some high-end shopping. They enjoyed delicate crepes and shopped at Gucci.
Later, they all met up in Grasse, the world’s capital of perfume, to devour delicious gelato and visit the Parfumerie Artisanale, where they met with the owner, watched her make scents and smelled her original perfumes. They finished the night out with dinner at Le Tube, a high-end steakhouse in Cannes.
Their third day in Cannes started with Karen, Charisse, and Candiace grabbing coffee at 72 Croisette before the whole group headed to Chateau de Cremat, a castle on the French Riviera, for a sommelier-led tour of the wine cellars and a special wine tasting. They kept the party going on the fourth day by spending it on a boat, drinking Champagne and just enjoying the Mediterranean. Docking in Eze, they checked out a local market, walked around the historical streets and ascended to the highest point in town for a jaw-dropping view. The ladies then celebrated Monique's birthday back at the Hotel Martinez Cannes with a burlesque-costume birthday party featuring dancing, singing — and plenty of feather boas.
Sounds très chic, but did the ladies keep it together in Cannes?
Karen insisted it was an experience that made the group "bond like never before."
