Shannon Beador's Food Line Just Scored a Nom for "Burger of the Year"
The Real Housewives of Orange County home chef is onto something big with her meat-free dish.
Shannon Beador is kicking butt in the gym — and on the grill. The Real Housewives of Orange County mom is on a major health kick, and has shaved off close to 30 pounds by exercising daily and eating clean. In fact, the RHOC pal has even made it her business to stick to a healthy diet.
Shannon recently launched a line of prepared frozen meals that clock in at 450 calories or less. During a recent sit-down at Bravo HQ (check out the clip above), she shared: "With the QVC food line, I've launched a healthy, lower-calorie food line. And so I'm in the kitchen a lot trying to fine-tune my recipes for more meals, and so I'm eating a lot better." It would also appear that Shannon's doing veggie burgers better, too!
Indeed, in an August 20 Instagram post, the food-line founder shared: "I am so excited that Real For Real Cuisine veggie burgers have been nominated 'Best Burger' in the 2018 QVC Customer Food Choice Award!" She added that fans can help her burger take home the gold by voting for it at this link. Fun fact: Her burgers are the only meat-free versions in the category.
We did a little sleuthing on these burgers, and found that they come in three flavors: Classic, Santa Fe (with black beans and peppers), and Real California (with jalapeno and avocado.) See? There's something for every burger-lover! Maybe we're a bit biased, but Shannon certainly has our vote.
