Shannon Storms Beador & John Were Planning to Move In Together Before They Split: Details
The RHOC cast member opened up about wanting to move in with John Janssen before they broke up in 2022.
Although Shannon Storms Beador confirmed earlier this year that she and John Janssen split in November 2022, Season 17 of The Real Housewives of Orange County has documented the couple’s relationship in happier times — even showing how they were planning for their future together.
On Episode 7, which aired on July 19, Shannon opened up about wanting to move in with John when it made sense for their respective families. “John and I have spoken about, when the kids go out of school, living together,” she said in an episode interview. “But we haven’t talked about any detail.”
“Do I have hope for spending the rest of my life with John? Absolutely,” she continued. “But I know that we have work to do and we have kids that are still living at home. So I’m not in any rush.”
While Shannon didn’t share where she wanted to live with John when the time came, it’s safe to say she didn’t exactly feel at home in his house.
“John and I rarely have dinner at his house because I have all the stuff,” she explained in an episode interview. As she looked for ingredients in his kitchen to make a salad dressing, she told John, “It’s a bit of a mishmash in here.”

Shannon recently moved into a seven-bedroom, five-bathroom house. In the video above, she gives a tour of her new Orange County pad and explains, “As soon as I walked in, I fell in love and so did my kids.”
When designing the home, Shannon was very intentional about ensuring it had a “nautical” vibe. “I feel like I’m in a boat in a lot of this home,” she says. “The usage of paneling and shiplap on the walls is just one of my favorites.”
“I grew up on boats,” she adds. “So I love blue and white whenever I can do that.”
The property also includes a breathtaking backyard. “It has so many amenities, especially for entertaining,” Shannon says. “There is an amazing bar area here for all of our friends, and I literally have an outdoor kitchen.”
