Heather and Terry Dubrow Are Building a House in Idaho

Heather Dubrow and Terry Dubrow are building another dream home in a bit of an unexpected place. 

"We actually just bought a plot of land in Idaho," The Real Housewives of Orange County alum revealed on RealiTea With Derek Z. "I had never been to Idaho before. I'd never even been to that corner of the world."

So, how did Heather's first-ever visit to Idaho result in the decision to build a home there? "My friend was going there and I'm like, 'Yeah, we'll come,'" she recalled. "I had this lake house fantasy and I dragged Terry there, leather jacket and all, which he never took off the entire time in the summer at the lake, and I fell in love and I'm designing a house right now."

Although the couple's new abode will fulfill Heather's "lake house fantasy," their California mansion, known as Dubrow Chateau, has plenty of dreamy features of its own. In August, Heather showed her Instagram followers what a "magical night" looks like at the home as she shared a photo of a vivid sunset in the sky above their luxe infinity-edge pool. A few months prior, she showcased an illuminated olive tree in their courtyard. "I put a mirror on the wall [of the courtyard] so you get depth," Heather shared in an Instagram Story at the time. "The big custom mirror on the wall reflects the tree at night. It's so pretty!"

While focusing on the design of their new vacation home, Heather has continued to make updates to their primary residence as well, including the newly-organized pantry she showed off last month. "I keep forgetting to post pictures of my updated pantry," she wrote at the time. "Thank you [Well Organized.] Amanda and I have been working together for YEARS!!! Through having kids (both of us...) and many moves and making everything perfectly organized and fabulous!"
