Emily Simpson Shows Exactly How She Gets Ready for Date Night — and Shane Has Thoughts

Emily Simpson is happy to include Shane Simpson in all aspects of her beauty regimen (who can forget when The Real Housewives of Orange County couple had a simultaneous waxing appointment on Season 17 Episode 8?). However, in the clip above, Emily gives her husband a new look at her getting-ready routine, and he has some thoughts.
In the Get Ready with Bravo video, Emily explains, "I wanted to share with you all, but also with Shane, how I get ready for a date night." As Shane quickly learned, this was a bit more of an interactive experience than he was expecting.

As Emily explained, "You gotta start out with a clean face." However, because she had already done her makeup, she decided she would demonstrate some of her skincare products on Shane instead. First, Emily mixed True Botanicals' SuperSEA Firming & Lifting Treatment and Renew Pure Radiance Oil and applied the combination to Shane's face. His verdict: "Honestly, it does feel nice."
While Shane was happy to have Emily add True Botanicals Resurrection Radiance Eye Cream under his eyes, he drew the line when she tried to add her "absolute favorite" concealer by Tarte.
In addition to the concealer, Emily's date night makeup roster includes Armani's Beauty Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Foundation, her "favorite" blush, Chanel powder, an eyeshadow palette with "lots of great colors," and a Charlotte Tilbury setting spray. "When I do my own makeup, I keep it really simple," she explains. "I actually don't use a lot of products.
While Shane wasn't willing to model Emily's makeup, he did give some feedback on the tools she uses: "I love the feel of these brushes."
