Bad Behavior
Tamra talks about her bathroom faux-pas and Alexis' breakdown.
I would like to start off saying that Peggy and Micah did an amazing job putting together the dinner party. There was so much thought put into every little detail. The food was delicious, and the singer really set the mood for a very romantic night. Too bad nobody could behave!
I knew Vicki would love Eddie the minute she met him. He has the most amazing energy, a giant smile, and the biggest heart. It didn't take them long to start talking about business. Eddie is a lot like Vicki with his business and appreciates anyone that works hard. Donn and I on the other hand were cracking jokes all night long.
When we arrived at the house everything and everybody looked amazing. It was nice to finally introduce Eddie to everyone. Well almost everyone. I overheard Gretchen and her friend talking about Eddie the second we walked in. I thought it was extremely rude of Gretchen to be cracking jokes about a guy she had never met. If she wanted to rip on me, then that's another story. When the signer started to perform, it was so romantic and Eddie took me to the dance floor. Eddie is Latin, and now I know where the term Latin lover comes from. He is over the top touchy-feely and romantic all the time, and I love it! If Gretchen had a problem with it, then she shouldn't have been staring. We continued dancing as she stared at us and made fun of us. Eddie had said to me several times, "Who cares what she says, just ignore her," and he was right. But as we sat down and they continued to talk about us at the dinner table, I couldn't hold back so I looked at them and said, "I can hear you." Then they finally quit it.
It was no surprise that Slade didn't show up after his court appearance. I'm sorry if I sounded rude about his child support issues. But, I have no respect for a guy that chooses not to work for years and then doesn't have to pay his child support. I would get a job at Burger King if I had to. It breaks my heart what Michelle and their son are going through. Being a single mom is hard enough, especially with all the medical issues on top of it. When Gretchen said we should not comment because we don't know, I'm here to tell you I do know the truth, and if she wants to know how I know, I will be happy to tell her. Vicki said it best when she said let's see what Gretchen has to say about it when it happens to her one day.
It looked like we were all consumed with Alexis and why she was freaking out over spending two hours away from her husband, but it was a really enjoyable night for everyone except Gretchen and Alexis. To this day Alexis is the only one that knows why she was throwing a fit about Jim not being there. She had told me he was in Arizona and told Peggy he had a business meeting. Whatever the reason, she really should have stayed at home or left when things got bad. Watching the footage I can only speculate what was going on by all of her comments she made to people, "I don't know what to say or do without Jim, I can't do this, it doesn't feel right, you don't know what's really is bothering me," etc. It makes everyone think there was more to this story. Whatever the case I'm sure they have worked it out and moved on.
It did seem like Alexis was playing the victim card in her interviews. You're damn straight we were all laughing at her, because it made no sense! You can't have a two hour dinner without your husband? Peggy totally supported Alexis 100%. She even told her she was sorry if what she said didn't come off right. I stopped their conversation by telling them, "Stop, you look prettier when you smile." Then Alexis turns it on Peggy as if it was her idea to stop the fight. What planet does this girl live on? Bottom line is to hear her say Peggy was a witch and didn't have her back was down right laughable! Alexis sure has a way to make it look like it's everyone else's problem, when it is really hers. I thought Peggy handled herself with class that night. More than I can say for most of the people there, including myself. My ear to the door was not one of my prouder moments. I actually got up to go to the bathroom, not to ease drop. But once I got there and found out what was going on, well, I guess I did what any ten year old would have done. I actually couldn't hear a damn thing!
To hear Gretchen telling Alexis we were talking badly about her and that she should go out and confront us made me laugh my butt off. "Those woman are talking sh-- about you, and you need to confront them. You need to say something, I didn't hear what they said, but I know they were talking about you." That's what I call an instigator! Should I have said something and made a big deal when Gretchen was ripping on Eddie for hours?
At the end of this very lovely dinner party Alexis and Gretchen really showed their true colors by acting wild and saying good fake crying, the bitches are gone, now let's go pick up our men and have some real fun. Hmm I thought Slade had his son and Jim was out of town? The worst part is she said it right in front of Peggy and Micah. Wow! Then she wonders why Peggy doesn't want anything to do with her?
