Tough Season

Vicki Gunvalson addresses the reunion drama!

By Vicki Gunvalson

I’m sorry for the delay in getting my final blog posted, as it has been an extremely busy time for me with all of my work travels. I am in Seattle right now and just finished my meeting with Amazon.com this morning. The weight loss Duzoxin product I am endorsing will be on the Amazon website within the next week or so which is very exciting. Jeana is looking fabulous and losing weight on this as well as myself and other friends. I love it because it doesn’t make me feel any different as other supplements have in the past and it’s very easy to take.

It’s always tough to sit on a couch for 10 hours recapping all the embarrassing moments that happened during this season.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Peacock and the Bravo App.

I thought the reunion show turned out fairly well. It’s always tough to sit on a couch for 10 hours recapping all the embarrassing moments that happened during this season. I tried to stay a little bit out of the radar in answering my questions from Andy, as I felt this season was a little bit tougher on me than others in the past and I wanted to end on a good note. There were so many times that I filmed my business, my kids and great moments on the cruise with my son working which wasn’t shown this year. Unfortunately the editing chose to film me in conflict with some of the other ladies, which is was a VERY small part of my life, versus the most important part of my life which is my family and work. On the cruise when I was hosting my workshops, the rooms were full with over 65 agents and the editing made it look like there wasn’t anyone there, which wasn’t the case. There were many moments when Michael was helping me put up signs and pass out our gift bags, but they chose to show the one part where Mike was not choosing to help me out. I think anyone that blogs or emails any of us that is judgmental, you have to remember if you were being followed with a camera for 4-5 months, I’m sure they would capture some embarrassing moments of you as well as they have on all of us.

I think it’s always tough to see the show in an edited version, as things always appear more dramatic with the editing and music than it is in real life when it is being filmed. It was really hard for me to be categorized as a “mean girl” as the people who know me and are close to me say that’s the farthest thing from the truth. If there wasn’t drama between us, the show would be boring, so I think we all exaggerate the situation or our personalities a little bit more when the cameras are rolling.

One of my favorite moments of the season was when we went to Napa with the Barneys. It was such a fabulous weekend and really nice to get out of the OC spotlight for a change. I loved the hotel that we stayed at and can’t wait to go back again.

Briana graduates from college in a few months and we are planning a trip this summer to Germany and Norway on a European cruise. This is what she wants to do to celebrate her accomplishments, so that should be a fun trip that we are planning right now. My grandmother was born in Oslo Norway, so it will be fun to see our family's roots.

Michael is preparing to take his life and health insurance class and exam within the next few weeks so that will be exciting to have him join our company. He is really looking forward to starting the next chapter of his life and earning a living on his own.

Until next time, we pass the baton over to the The Real Housewives of NYC. Good luck girls!
