Gina Kirschenheiter: I Think Vicki's Heart is in the Right Place
"What Vicki doesn't understand and seems unwilling to understand is that not everyone’s situation is the same."
Bravotv.com: How does it feel to have your parents in town? How often do they come?
Gina Kirschenheiter: It is beyond nice to have my parents in town. It is always obviously nice to get a guilt-free break from the kids, so that is always a bonus! But also, my parents are my rock. They help keep me grounded and centered. They give me the feeling that I hope one day I can give to my kids: that everything will be okay. They give me the confidence to be who I am and feel what I feel without judgment. And I know they will also let me know when they don’t agree with me, but they do it in a way that isn’t hurtful or judgmental. They just allow me to see the other side of things when I need to. Their visit this time couldn’t have come at a better time. I was starting to feel like I was going crazy! I needed the reassurance and love!
Bravotv.com: How did you feel about your coffee with Vicki?
GK: Coffee with Vicki was okay. I honestly do think that Vicki’s heart is in the right place. She cares for me and she doesn’t want to see me make a decision that I will regret, as she has. What she doesn’t understand and seems unwilling to understand is that not everyone’s situation is the same. I am to the point with this where I truly feel we will just have to agree to disagree. There is nothing that Vicki is going to say to me to make me feel like I don’t have the best understanding of my situation or my family’s needs. We ended coffee with her saying she would support me and stop harping on it, so I hope we can just move forward from this point and leave it alone.
