Giving It Back
Sarah is glad she made peace with Vicki and that the girls seemed to get along for Gretchen's performance.
Give the world the best you have, and the best will always come back to you. . .
It was so exciting to watch Gretchen perform with the Pussycat Dolls in Las Vegas. I don't think she could have picked a more perfect place for her first public performance. Having the entire group of girls together in the same place at the same time probably didn't make things any easier for her, but even with all of Gretchen's "biggest critics" being there, sitting front and center during her entire performance, really didn't seem to phase her a bit. She managed to completely wow everyone in the entire place with such an amazing performance that seemed like she has done it 1,000 times before. Not only did everyone have a great time watching her performance, it was also someone's birthday in the house that night so we were all ready to let loose, have fun, and celebrate with the birthday girl!
What a surprise it was to see all of the girls together in the same place, at the same time, and actually getting along for goodness sakes!?! Gretchen's right -- what the heck was in the champagne? Maybe all of the glitz, glam, and excitement of being in Las Vegas put everyone in good spirits for the weekend. I must say that the sincere effort that was made by all of the girls and their significant others. By putting aside their own personal issues and cattiness for the weekend to come together to support a good friend really says a lot in my opinion. Maybe there is a slight chance that all of the girls are somewhat capable of getting along after all possibly? Or maybe is was just the champagne??? That would be my guess. LOL!
I was also glad that I had the opportunity to finally confront Vicki in regards to the crazy bowling alley argument. I explained to her why I approached her that day, and that even though it might have seemed confrontational on my part it was not the case. My intentions were nothing but good and -- they still are. We had a nice little chat after out on the balcony, and I think we both we able to clear the air and move on from that whole ordeal with no hard feelings. I honestly think that Vicki is a great person and has a big heart. Unfortunately, to some it may seem as though she can be somewhat guarded at times. I found that once she lets her walls down a bit there is a whole other side to Vicki that everyone can appreciate, respect, and admire as a business woman, mother, and friend.
I believe by having faith and giving the world the best you have, the best will always come back to you. Congratulations on a job well done Gretchen! Love ya!
