Fight for This Love

Never give up on someone you can't go a day without thinking about. . .

It was very hard for me to hear that two of my dearest friends, Gretchen and Slade, were going through a little bit of a rough patch in their relationship. I love them both dearly. To be honest, of all of the people in the world I would have never imagined those two ever having any kind of issues (other than maybe Slade leaving the toilet seat up or something funny like that). In my eyes, they are by far the best couple ever. They are always so fun, warm, happy, loving, and respectful towards each other. I know how much they love each other and I think with some patience, understanding, and compromise in time everything will work itself out for the best.

I know without a doubt if I ever need any guy advice they would be the first people that I would call. It really breaks my heart that they are going through this. I wish there was something I could say or do that could fix this or make it better. They truly are two of the best friends anyone could ever ask for. No matter how hectic their life may be between business, traveling, and juggling all of their work projects, I must say they have they have always been there for me with their doors, arms, and hearts wide open. And oh yes, I have had my share of some pretty good round table moments with them, that I will admit. No matter how sad or upset I am they always find a way to crack me up! It's hilarious. Gretchen is usually in the kitchen throwing some kind of yummy baked goods in the oven for us to snack on when we sit around the dinning room table listening to my drama. While Gretchen is playing Betty Crocker, Slade is playing Dr. Phil. They two of the best friends anyone could ever have. That's why it is so hard for me to fathom those two ever having an issues between each other.

I have never met two of real, giving, caring, unselfish people that compliment each other as well as they do, and they do so in such a way that it makes me believe that without a doubt love like theirs can outlast anything life throws their way. I know that as hard as it can be for most to come across that kind of true, unbreakable love in life, it seems it would be even harder to let it go.

TO: Gretchen and Slade, if I could take just a minute to give you guys some roundtable advice like you have given me, "many times before" (LOL). . .Just keep in mind not every relationship is perfect with rainbows and butterflies.

There will always be good with the bad, the ups with the downs, and smiles with the frowns. It's really how you both approach the situation and find the most effective way to work through this together as a team. You both truly love each other and as your good friend I would never want to see anything ever come in between you two, even if I have to get in my car, drive down to your house, get CRAZY on you, lock you in the house and make you both talk it all out before you ever decide to ever quit on each other! LOL.

I am so glad to hear that you both decided to reach out and get some professional advice on any issues you were going through. If there is a WILL there is a WAY. I have faith in you guys and love you both very much! I know that you will be able to move forward past all of this and hopefully have a happy healthy life together. . .forever! I'm always here for you if you ever need anything. I'm always just a phone call and car ride away.
