Sai De Silva Shows Off the Shockingly Pretty School Lunches She Makes for Her Vegetarian Kids
School is back in session, and The Real Housewives of New York City's Sai De Silva is already on her school lunch game.
It’s back to school time and it’s no surprise The Real Housewives of New York City's Sai De Silva has got it covered.
The social media influencer showed off the picture-worthy vegetarian lunches she made for her children, daughter London and son Rio, as they head back to school in a recent Instagram Story that captured the family’s last minute-preparations before the new school year.
What does Sai De Silva Cook for Her Kids?
The carefully curated lunches almost looked too pretty to eat with their rainbow of colors and textures.
“Back to the lunchbox making,” Sai wrote alongside the photo. “What I feed my vegetarian kids…”
Each bento box was filled with a sunflower butter sandwich, fresh strawberries, veggies and hummus, pretzel crisps, and granola bar.

While one of her children also got a banana, the other had “nutritional yeast covered popcorn” to round out the wholesome meal.
The lunches alone may have been enough to earn Sai a nomination for mother of the year, but the video also demonstrated the laborious process she went through to take out her daughter’s braids the day before classes were set to begin.
She shared an adorable photo of London, with her newly freed curls, heading off to her first-day of seventh grade, wearing a plaid skirt and blue button-down shirt, as part of the post.
The lunches weren’t the only way Sai has been preparing for another successful school year with her family.
Sai and her mini-me also shared their latest “Fall looks” as the season transitions on Sai’s popular blog, Scout the City.
“Guys, I think we have a problem. I think London has started to realize that she’s cooler than me,” Sai joked alongside a photo of them showing off their classic looks from Saks. “Luckily, she still enjoys being seen in public with me and letting me take her out to lunch (as long as I pay), but this tween is right on the verge of teenagerism and she’s got her own forcefield of swag going on.”
Sai then said her daughter was “rocking so much main character energy” that she realized “I’m her sidekick now, and I’m okay with that.”
While London sported a tan and black checked skirt and jacket combo and black Converse for an “ultra-preppy allure” in the photos, her mom looked sleek in an all black top with peek-a-boo cut out and loose black trousers.
“We styled ourselves in very different looks, but the vibe is consistently urban chic and both of our outfits are perfect for fall days,” Sai wrote.
It looks like this fashionista — and her trendsetter daughter — are ready for fall.
