Ramona Details Her Beauty Regimen and the “Mini” Cosmetic Procedure She Had Done
RHONY alum Ramona Singer touched on everything from exercise to skincare to plastic surgery.
Ramona Singer is sharing it all.
In the latest episode of her Turtle Time podcast, The Real Housewives of New York City alum spoke candidly about her beauty regimen and the different steps she takes to maintain her preferred appearance.
“As we all know, you are the ageless queen — Benjamin Button, reversing constantly,” said her co-host/daughter Avery Singer. “I think that we should talk about wellness, any kind of anti-aging tips — just things that you have learned, because you are the pro.”
The Ageless by Ramona founder was completely on board.
“I’m gonna share it all. I’m gonna share all my secrets right now. How’s that?” Ramona said, before jumping right in. “I think the No. 1 thing that’s most important is the way you look physically, meaning physically fit… There’s no secret to getting that [through] operations or surgery. You have to be physical. You need to work out. And it’s never too late to change your body. And I’ve helped some of my girlfriends change their bodies.”

The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip mom insisted that staying in shape doesn’t have to break the bank, and encouraged listeners to follow online workout routines — specifically those by Isaac Boots and Alexis Ren. Ramona praised the former’s full-body workouts, which combine everything from weightlifting to yoga, and said the latter offers terrific ab workouts.
Ramona went on to say that she does arm exercises three or four times a week, and tries to get in at least 10,000 steps every day.
“Walking. Walking. Walking. Walking. Keep active,” she explained. “You have to keep active… If you have a good body, then you’re gonna look younger and you’ll feel better and you’ll have more energy.”

Ramona and Avery then turned the conversation to skincare. The New York mom said she likes to use topicals with the moisture-locking ingredient hyaluronic acid, as well as those that contain Matrixyl 3000 — a synthetic peptide that promotes skin elasticity and strength through collagen formation. But her No. 1 go-to product? Sunscreen.
“I would literally go to the beach and put a towel over my face,” Ramona admitted. “The ozone layer is so thin now, the sun is so strong, even in the winter. You must always go out with sunblock on your face. And don’t forget your hands.”
Ramona said Neutrogena sells an affordable sunscreen that is great for everyday use, but if you’re looking for something more protective, she recommends Sobel Skin RX mineral-based sunscreen and Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Moisturizer SPF 45.
Ramona Singer addresses her cosmetic procedures
“She is the mom at the pool that is running around with the sunscreen, like, ‘Make sure you’re reapplying! Where’s your hat?’” Avery added, before pointing out that her mom has “never really done a full facelift.”
“No, I’ve just done little mini procedures,” Ramona responded. “I don’t like to admit everything I’ve done right now. But the key is to do things before you really need them.”
The RHONY alum said most of her cosmetic procedures were done in her 50s, but she had an eye lift when Avery was a kid.
“I said, ‘You know what, better to do it beforehand than too late,’” Ramona recalled. “So I really did it because I had ‘a little hood,’ so when I would put on my mascara or eyeliner, it would go to the top of my eye because my eye was a little droopy… I had a little excess skin.”
Although Ramona had no objections to surgical procedures, she credited her timeless looks to more accessible practices.
“First, just so you know, having anything done surgical on your face does not change the quality of your skin,” she said. “I have really great quality of skin because I use anti-aging skincare products; I’ve used lasers and sunscreen… And the other thing that’s really important is drinking lots of water. I drink lots of water and I get nine hours of sleep every night. Most people get what? Six, seven [hours]? I need nine. And that’s what I think really keeps me young looking and youthful.”
