Heather: I Really Wasn’t Sure What I Was in For
Heather talks about Sonja's casting call and why she's learned to stop asking questions.
It was so nice to catch up with Radz after her trip to London. I was excited to hear all about it and fill her in on some things she had missed. Sonja invited me to her brand meeting, and so I decided to check it out. I really wasn’t sure what I was in for but was glad to have Bethenny there, too. I think we both thought we would actually see the clothes, but instead we saw models. And this was pretty difficult with no collection to reference. I hold model castings regularly for Yummie, so I was asking questions during this meeting in an attempt to wrap my arms around what was going on. But I don’t know that there are any answers, and at this point I should probably know to stop asking questions and to just sit back and watch.
I’m so excited for Kristen and her Fashion Week debut with Elie Tahari. Pop of Color is great, and I have been a fan of Elie’s work over the years, so it was fun to see the two of them team up. I know how much work Kristen has been putting into her brand, and it’s really paying off. Congrats! And speaking of fashion debuts…we finally got to a Sonja Morgan runway show, and it turned out to be a lovely event. Whatever Sonja’s end game is with this journey, I hope she gets everything she wants out of it.
