LuAnn Reminds Ramona NYC Isn't the Savannah
LuAnn likes sex any day of the week, praises Aviva and Heather's attempt to move on, and is shocked by Ramona's "peace making."
In this episode, we see the ladies mending fences, lunching with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, noshing on caviar, and giving a lot of unsolicited advice to each other. Carole counsels Kristen and Josh on their sex-life and she encourages Kristen to stick to her "one-a-day wifely duties" -- spoken like a single lady!
Then Ramona jumps into the Heather/Aviva fight and calls Heather out for not inviting Aviva to her tenth anniversary party. Heather does have a history of not inviting people who she thinks are going to ruin a good time, but it's her party and she can invite whomever she wants.
I was surprised that Heather and Aviva were willing to make amends so quickly. Good for them. . .it's best to let go of resentments as soon as possible. Aviva said she loved the paella I had brought in from the Seafood Shop for my party and I have to say, it gave the fruit tart a run for it's money. So delish.
When Heather mentioned how mean it was for Aviva to compare Sonja to Anna Nicole Smith, you could see in Aviva's facial expressions that she understands her comment was way out-of-line. Sonja loves to have a good time but I know that she plans to stick around for her daughter. While Heather thinks that Aviva can be "f---ing dramatic," she can be just as demonstrative as Aviva when provoked.

Why Ramona felt the need to put Aviva on the phone with Heather while shopping for home goods is baffling to me. I guess Ramona wanted to seize the moment? She's been feeling peaceful since her trip to South Africa, but she's not in the Savannah anymore, this is NYC darling.
Jonathan and Heather have a great relationship. you can see in the scene where Carole, Kristen, and Jonathan meet to plan his gift for Heather that he is truly a sweet and loving husband. Kristen says that she wishes Josh was more like Jonathan, and I have to agree that Josh would benefit from being more romantic. Every marriage is different and it's hard to know what's really going on between two people -- so I wouldn't be too concerned for Kristen and Josh. . .They seem to make it work.
It was a treat to see two Housewives from Beverly Hills having lunch with Carole and Kristen. Carole's hook-up with George Clooney is old news to me. Yolanda assures the girls that "we've all kissed some frogs," and I loved Carole’s comment that she's kissed princes too! We've all had flirtations with the wrong men on our way to meeting the right ones. Carole claims that Saturdays are the best days for sex and while that may true -- any day works for me!

I understand why Heather didn’t invite Aviva to her anniversary party because even though they made up, the wounds were still fresh and Heather really wanted this night to be drama-free. I was stuck in the middle between Heather and Ramona and Sonja -- but I eventually had to say that they weren't coming to the party so that Heather didn't expect them the entire night.
Kristen and Josh could probably benefit from seeing a therapist -- but not one that has been treating Kristen solo. Instead, they should find a neutral counselor who can give their relationship a fresh look.
On a lighter note, Heather was very happy with her anniversary gift from Jonathan. A bag of caviar is an over-the-top treat and we all enjoyed it very much.
As for Ramona, Sonja and Aviva being on the "fringe" of the friend group, that remains to be seen. These ladies are very much a part of our lives so let's see how this season plays out between us all.
Until next week, bisous my friends!
