Get a Look at Bethenny Frankel's Genius Hack for Decorating Your Bookshelves
The RHONY alum has a very unique way of styling her bookcases.
Bethenny Frankel has always had a skill for home decor, as evidenced by the number of drop-dead gorgeous properties that she owns or flips. But her eye for design extends far beyond big-ticket items, like furniture and paint color. She often finds a way to incorporate small, creative details — like the unique way she decorated her bookshelves in her Bridgehampton home.
In a recent Instagram Story, The Real Housewives of New York City alum gave us a glimpse at the distinctive manner in which she adorned her white, floor-to-ceiling bookcases. As she sits on the couch petting one of her adorable pooches, the bookshelves can be seen behind her — only instead of being filled with novels and knick-knacks, they’re actually decorated with a slew of small, white picture frames! Genius, right?
It appears as if the frames are of slightly varying depths, adding some more dimension to the look. Plus, while all the frames are the same neutral color, the Skinnygirl entrepreneur made sure not to keep it too uniform by switching their placement from vertical to horizontal in various places throughout. Leave it to Bethenny to turn white bookshelves and white picture frames into her own art form!
Not only is filling your bookshelves with picture frames a fresh and easy way to revamp a room in your house, but it also makes the space feel more personalized. After all, what makes a home feel cozier than decorating it with photos of your favorite people and places?
