Julianne Wainstein: It's a Big Topic

Aaaaand there you have it. That’s my morning! Every day those little cuties (Michael included) need my love and attention, and I do my very best to keep each one happy and fullfilled. Yes, it feels nuts every day, but I am so lucky to be experiencing it. I try to remind myself to treasure these moments even when that is a distant thought. BTW, cute kids right?

As far as touching the shellfish is concerned, I did have a very instantaneous reaction. I thought those were latkes (potato pancakes). OY VEY! I do NOT eat shellfish, and immediately I wanted to wash it away. But yes, it's hilarious that I used the ice bucket. At the time, it seemed logical but in hindsight there was a bathroom nearby! It is nowhere NEAR the silliest thing I have ever done. Anyhow a few people might have been confused by the word Mikveh, and bottom line is that it is a ritual bath that Jewish women use at specific times to cleanse their body. It’s an old tradition, and I am fairly certain that no one expected it would show up on this show, but it did, and now you all know about it!

I always think it’s hilarious when people I have only recently met ask me if I breastfed my children. Umm, I always want to ask, why, are you considering trying? Do I have any valuable information to offer? No, actually, it didn’t work out for me, but I did try. My kids are healthy and well. We have bonded, and frankly, I think there is a weird amount of pressure put on women to breastfeed. It’s one option, and it wasn’t for me. Thank goodness there were other options.

And of course, I’d be remiss to not address the skinny comments. I'm very lucky to not struggle with my weight, but I am offended when people question my health in public without mentioning it to me. Are you really my friend? Are you really worried? Say it to my face. And to the viewers out there, know that I am healthy and happy. This is how I look.

As far as Dorinda selling John is concerned, it’s a big topic. The bottom line is that when attacked in any way, people defend themselves. Dorinda is a victim of a multi-pronged attack, and she has no choice but to defend herself and her choice in John. I commend her, because it isn’t easy. No one is perfect after all, but she is truly happy, and I wish this crowd would jump on board and be happy for her.

I’m sorry that John was allegedly making sexual enhancement drug jokes to random people about Dorinda, but truth be told, a couple that makes love late into the night is a happy couple. And that is what I have always seen them to be.

Can’t wait for you to see the rest of the lingerie party. It is a spicy affair. Love you all so hard.
