Caroline Manzo Has Gone Back to School... Cooking School!
The RHONJ pal is mastering a new kind of flavor.
Caroline Manzo is already pretty darned skilled in the kitchen. But, that doesn't mean she's immune to the charms of a good cooking class — especially when it's one led by her brother, where the menu is chock-full of comfort foods.
On September 25, The Real Housewives of New Jersey pal took to Instagram with a series of photos from the Viking Range cooking school. In her first post, she set up the delicious scene: "Guys, I'm at [Viking Range] cooking school in Mississippi — look what we are going to make! I’m so excited," she wrote. And, after peeping the menu, we can certainly see why.
The group cooked up a feast inspired by the movie The Help, which featured tons of southern-style treats.
During Caroline's class, chef Jaime Laurita led the students through making fried chicken, macaroni and cheese corn bread, biscuits, deviled eggs, and more. And, for dessert, the class made "Minny's Chocolate Pie," which, for those familiar with the film, contains a very special secret ingredient. (If you're not afraid of spoilers, click here.)
