When Teresa Giudice married Luis “Louie” Ruelas in August 2022, her towering wedding hairstyle was instantly buzzed about among her castmates, family members, and The Real Housewives of New Jersey viewers. So on Part 3 of the RHONJ Season 13 reunion, host Andy Cohen was eager to get Louie’s thoughts on Teresa’s bridal ’do.

“Louie, congratulations on your wedding,” Andy said on the June 13 episode before asking, “Your first reaction to Teresa’s hair at the wedding was?”
“‘Wow,’” Louie answered, to which Andy responded, “Yes, that was mine too.”
Louie shared more of his initial reaction on The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Gets Married, which aired on May 23. “Her hair is standing up like three feet,” he said in an interview. “It’s what she wanted, you know, and that’s beautiful.”

As Teresa’s hairstylist Lucia Casazza explained on The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Gets Married, Teresa’s bridal hair included “over 1,500 pins” and the $10,000 style took three and a half hours to complete.
“I wanted my hair half-up half-down because Louie likes my hair away from my face,” Teresa shared in an episode interview. “I love dramatic statement pieces. Even if it’s like one thing, I like for it to stand out, be, like, very dramatic. I love the height of it.”

Teresa’s daughters had differing opinions on the style, which also included a sparkling headpiece. “Obviously, it’s big,” Gia Giudice said on the wedding special. “Like, Queen Elizabeth probably has a crown like that.”

Although Teresa’s castmates had mixed opinions about the hair look, they all agreed that Teresa looked stunning as she walked down the aisle. “Would I like it to be a little bit lower? Yes. But she looks so beautiful,” Dolores Catania said on the wedding special. “Teresa can pull this off.”
As Danielle Cabral watched Teresa walk toward Louie, she quipped, “You know the saying, ‘The higher the hair, the closer to God? Well, God is looking up at her at this point!”
