Teresa Giudice Explains the Shocking Reason She's Always Drinking Pineapple Juice
The RHONJ cast member has a very specific reason for incorporating pineapple into her diet — and Joe Gorga is horrified.
On The Real Housewives of New Jersey's March 17 episode, Joe Gorga's birthday dinner was filled with plenty of incredibly sweet moments. One of them, however, he could have done without.
As the meal commenced, Teresa Giudice ordered her drink for the evening: vodka with pineapple juice. Melissa Gorga was quick to quip, "I'll tell you why she likes it," before recalling Teresa's conversation with her longtime friend Tony, in which Teresa flirtatiously told him, "I eat a lot of pineapple so I taste really good." In case Teresa's brother wasn't horrified enough by the story (to be clear: he was), Teresa went on to explain to the group, "I heard it makes you taste really sweet, pineapple and peaches."
With a laugh, Melissa declared, "This girl is so horny," and Teresa agreed, saying, "I wanna get my peach kissed."
Later, Teresa hosted a pool party at her home where she offered her guests — you guessed it — pineapple. At the sight of his sister holding one of the fruit in each hand, Joe revisited the conversation with Frank Catania, who was definitely intrigued by the theory. "You can control what you taste like by what you eat?" Dolores Catania's ex-husband asked, to which Joe responded, "That's what she said."
