Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga Honored Nonno on Father's Day With a Special Drink

Less than three months after Giacinto Gorga passed away, Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga paid tribute to their late dad on Father's Day by having a special drink in his honor. 

In a video posted to his Instagram Story, Joe shared a sweet memory of celebrating Father's Day with Giacinto, who was known to The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans as Nonno (grandfather in Italian). "Every Father's Day, I'd get up in the morning, I'd make my father breakfast, and then we'd have a drink," Joe said in the clip as he prepared to take a shot of Johnnie Walker Blue Label with Teresa and Melissa Gorga. "We'd drink a whole bottle by the time people [came] over and enjoy ourselves. So today, I said to my sister and my wife, 'Since my father's not here, we'll drink in honor of him.'"

Teresa, who noted she brought the bottle at Joe's request, echoed: "We're going to drink it in honor of him." 

After sharing the touching story, Joe, Melissa, and Teresa got ready to enjoy the drink. "We're going to do a shot in honor of him," Joe said. "Because we love you and miss you so much."

Teresa's daughter Gia recorded a video of Joe and Teresa pouring the bottle as they showed off custom glasses featuring Giacinto's name within a large "G." Later, a group of friends and family joining the siblings for the day also enjoyed the drink as they raised their glasses for a toast to Giacinto. "We miss you," Joe said. "We love you."

In the months since he passed away, the family has found numerous ways to keep Giacinto's memory alive. Teresa, who has a recipe in her Skinny Italian book called "Papa's Steak Pizzaiola," cooked the dish with her daughter Gabriella in April, adding a hastag for Nonno to her Instagram Story photo of the meal.
