Teresa Giudice Turned 48 with an Over-the-Top Dessert Spread & Blue Ombre Cake
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member had her pick of delicious desserts to ring in the big day.
Teresa Giudice had the sweetest 48th birthday. As seen in a series of Instagram videos posted by Teresa's The Real Housewives of New Jersey castmate Jennifer Aydin, Teresa happily celebrated the big day with friends, family, and an enviable dessert spread. In the clip, Jennifer showed several plates of cookies (some of which had photos of Teresa and her loved ones printed on them), croissants, and a tiered cupcake stand among other foods including a sizable watermelon platter.
While all of the treats looked incredible, Teresa's birthday cake may have been the most eye-catching item on the table. The two-tiered cake, which Teresa and her daughters gathered around as their guests sang "Happy Birthday," featured blue ombre frosting that eventually faded into a completely white top. As a stunning detail, the confection also had an edible white flower placed at a connecting point of the two tiers.
Teresa is known for her over-the-top celebratory cakes. For her birthday last year, she had a single-tier white cake decorated with a black Chanel logo and topped with edible black flowers. To ring in Milania's 14th birthday in February, Teresa had an incredibly elaborate cake created, with the bottom tier designed to look like a boom box. While celebrating Gia heading to Rutgers University last year, she made sure the party was complete with a towering, four-tier cake featuring the school's signature red-and-white hues and logo.
Aside from incredible cakes, Teresa's family tends to go all out with enviable feasts for special moments. For Mother's Day this year, Gia, Gabriella, Audriana, and Milania whipped up a stunning breakfast for their mom. The meal included pancakes that were shaped to spell "I [heart] U," French toast with powdered sugar, eggs, bacon, and Pignoli cookies.
"Look what my girls did for me," Teresa said aloud in a video at the time. "Best Mother's Day."
