Teresa Giudice Gets Heartfelt Tattoo After 4-Year Anniversary of Mother's Death
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom's new ink has a very special meaning.
Teresa Giudice has some meaningful new ink.
On March 9, The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom shared several videos of herself getting a new tattoo while accompanied by her eldest daughter Gia. Teresa got the words "Sempre Insieme" inked on her ribcage by tattoo artist Ashley Hsiung. The Italian phrase translates to "always together."
Her tattoo reveal comes just a few days after the 4-year anniversary of her mother, Antonia Gorga's, passing. Last week, Teresa included the same Italian phrase in a heartfelt Instagram post dedicated to her late mother (who died on March 3, 2017).
"I miss you so much Mommy not a day goes by that I do not think of you," she captioned the post, using the hashtag sempre insieme.
In 2017, Teresa told The Daily Dish that her mother's death felt "like a bad dream." She added, "I'm still kind of numb over it. I don't know if I'll ever get used to it."
Last year, Teresa's father, Giacinto Gorga (lovingly referred to as Nonno), died on April 3.
"You are the absolute strongest man I know [and] I know you missed mommy so much but you stayed for us. Thank you for being the best husband, father [and] Nonno. Your devotion to mommy was one for the record books, you were the true example and a gentleman and devoted husband," Teresa shared on Instagram at the time. "You visited mommy every single day [and] would go twice for the days you missed while traveling or if you were to sick to go, my silver lining is knowing you’ll be together now. Thank you for showing us all what true love is. Love you Papa Rest In Peace."
