Margaret Josephs Shows Her "Cute and Simple" Look for Halloween
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member whipped up an adorable costume using just a few face paints and everday brushes.
Margaret Josephs has her signature style of glam, which you can see in the clip above, and, it turns out, a slightly woodsier one. It's almost Halloween, and The Real Housewives of New Jersey beauty is testing out costumes, including a spotted, wide-eyed creature that's typically found frolicking in the forest.
In an October 19 Instagram share, the pigtails-wearer wrote: "Oh Deer! Halloween is coming up quick… [Get Ready With Me] with a cute and simple [Halloween] look." In case the caption didn't give it away, Margaret's accompanying video proved that she'll be dressing up as a deer this year — and it sounds like her husband Joe Benigno is A-OK with that.
"It's a nice, easy, fun Halloween costume," Margaret said as she narrated her video, which showed her makeup artist Mariel using Candie Couture by Margaret Josephs brushes to give Marge a Bambi-inspired beauty look. "Joe loves chasing me around, and everybody knows he loves a little deer," the RHONJ cast member said.

The video showed Marge's transformation into the woodland creature, starting with a base of dewy foundation, contoured cheeks, and inky faux lashes. Mariel then used black eyeliner to draw lines under Margaret's eyes. And she filled them in with some white face paint from Mehron.
Mariel used the same white makeup to speckle Margaret's forehead with little dots and drew on a cute black deer nose to top it all off. For the finishing touch, she gave Marge a two-tone lip, with a darker pink on top and a lighter hue on the bottom. Margaret later added transparent antlers and a fur coat to her look, posing behind a tree for the ultimate forested fashion moment.
Margaret's deer ensemble is just the latest fabulous Halloween costume she's pulled off. In the past, the entrepreneur and her husband have made a striking Morticia and Gomez Addams.
Rocking a sizzling black mermaid-shaped dress, a bright bold lip, and a full head of black locks, Margaret morphed into a very convincing Morticia in 2020. She completely nailed every detail, down to the bouquet of red roses and a pair of scissors to snip them up with.
There was also that time Margaret and Joe hit a Halloween party dressed as Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. What can we say? The RHONJ couple always dresses to impress.
