Jennifer Aydin Explains Why Bill Aydin Spends So Much Time in Their Pool House
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member shared a new perspective on her husband’s time in their pool house.
While giving a tour of her jaw-dropping house and backyard in the video above, Jennifer Aydin points to her pool house and declares, “It’s kind of like my husband’s escape home. He goes there all the time.” During Season 9 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Dr. Bill Aydin’s time in the pool house became a hot topic, and more recently, on Season 13 Episode 6, Jennifer shared why it upsets her that Bill often hangs out there.
“This is the thing: You come home, you go straight to the pool house,” Jennifer said to Bill during a session with a psychologist. “You go in there, and you stay in there until three hours, and you come in once we’re all done finished eating dinner. That irritates me. When I see his car in the camera, I’m like, ‘Uh, what about a hello?’”
Although Jennifer later revealed the therapy session was helpful for the couple in many ways, it seems they continued to disagree about the pool house. When Season 13 concluded with an update on each of the cast members, Jennifer’s card read, “Jennifer and Bill continue to work on their marriage. She’s hoping he’ll start to prioritize their family over the pool house.”
Jennifer Aydin Clarifies Why Bill Aydin Spends So Much Time in the Pool House
On Part 2 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 13 reunion, Jennifer shared Bill’s perspective on the issue. “He explained the pool house to me,” she told host Andy Cohen. “He said, ‘Look, Jen, I’m all day with patients. I’m on, on, on. When I walk into the house, I know there’s you, there’s a nanny, there’s your dad, there [are] four kids, now there’s a dog. I need to unwind a little bit.’”
As it turns out, Jennifer’s feelings on the matter have drastically changed in recent months. “I have to say, I’ve been using the pool house a lot at night,” she shared. “Now we just hang out there together.”
