Gia Giudice Is “Manifesting” a Major Move out of New Jersey
Teresa Giudice’s eldest daughter revealed her plans to relocate across the country.
Gia Giudice is planning to say goodbye to the Garden State — someday, at least.
In a September 18 Instagram post, Teresa Giudice’s daughter — who was born and raised in New Jersey and recently graduated from Rutgers University — revealed where she hopes to live in the future. While sharing photos from a recent trip to California, Gia wrote in her caption, “Manifesting the day until I’m a Cali girl.”
Gia’s photos from the West Coast getaway earlier this month showed sweet moments with boyfriend Christian Carmichael, stepfather Luis “Louie” Ruelas, and one of Louie’s sons as they went to hot spots Catch and Drake’s. Gia also spent time at an event with Scheana Shay and Scheana’s daughter, Summer Moon, during their trip. In a September 6 Instagram Story video of Gia and Summer, Scheana wrote, “[Teresa Giudice], we made some cute girls.”
This isn’t the first time The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter has expressed interest in moving. In 2021, she told BravoTV.com, “I would definitely branch out of Jersey. Like, when I’m older maybe. After my life is established, and maybe if I find a person I want to be with, and if we want to start our family somewhere else, or if I even move out [somewhere] on my own.”
Noting that California was a potential option for where she might want to live someday, she explained at the time, “Whatever law school I get into, it will obviously determine where I would be going next.”

As RHONJ viewers are well aware, the Giudices are a tight-knit crew, so it’s not exactly a surprise that Gia isn’t the only family member considering a move to California. During a December 2022 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Teresa shared, “Milania wants to go to California,” and added, “She looked at two colleges in San Diego.”

Teresa is also planning to move out of New Jersey. On a January episode of her Namaste B$tches podcast, Teresa told her California-based co-host, Melissa Pfeister, that she was considering relocating.
“I wanna move by you ’cause, like, this weather is so crappy,” Teresa explained. “It was pouring rain this morning… and then I’m thinking about you. I’m like, ‘Melissa’s in the sunshine.’ I’m like, ‘I wanna be there with her!’”
“I told Louie four more years,” she continued. “I’m counting down. Four more years, you know, till Audriana [Giudice] goes to college… I need to either be in California or Florida.”
