Summer in Jersey

Hello friends! We’re back at it again, what have you all been up to? I’ve been keeping busy mixing it up in the kitchen. You know me and my love for something sweet, so I figured why not have your cake and DRINK it too with my little creation the Red Velvet Cosmo. So check it out.

Summer time in Jersey…nothing says summer like sunshine, barbeques, the Jersey shore, and oh, of course, leopard bikinis. Everyone seems to come out of hiding, so get ready for a wild ride with us down the GSP (Garden State Parkway)!

I hope you enjoy our laughs, get angry with us if you need to, and sympathize with our struggles. We are no different than any other family, but like our Italian food, our flavor is spicy and just kicked up a notch. Keep in mind, the family jokes around and throws out statements they don’t mean that may be rooted in anger, but at the end of the day, it’s nothing but love. If you didn’t care about the person, you wouldn’t waste your time being angry with them. This season our stories will be told and you will get to know us a little bit better. It’s up to you to judge for yourself, but don’t forget to read between the lines. After all, actions speak louder than words. So let’s just move forward and enjoy the summer with us.

I can’t end this blog without addressing a few things. I hope that you have all come to understand Richie’s blunt sense of humor. It’s a package deal and comes along with his no nonsense logic and huge heart! So folks, you asked for it and you’re going to get it. More ROSIE, you know you love her! More short and sweet words of wisdom with my mom, Maria (AKA Nonni), and more of our Jersey kids.
