Alexia's Anniversary Celebration

Alexia explains why this anniversary was so special to her.

Hi guys! Sorry I have been missing in action! I've been back to back with personal life duties and work commitments. Last week was especially tough time management wise; I had between flying to NYC for the reunion filming, emceeing a breast cancer awareness event, and meeting deadlines for the magazine, plus my mommy duties, which sometimes by far exceed my professional ones.

As far as the wedding goes, it was beautiful and Adriana looked breathtaking. I couldn't wait to see Frederic’s face once he saw Adriana walking down the aisle. And by the way Herman looked handsome in his white tux, too bad I couldn't hang out with him all night! I was busy for quite some time with bridesmaid duties!

With that being said, Herman and I decided to invite our immediate family over for dinner at our home. Herman's original plan was to roast a pig just like in Season 1. Unfortunately the weather prevented this from happening. As a typical Cuban family, the dinner was all about eating, laughing, drinking, crying, and just inputting thoughts. It was so special for all of us to be there that night. I feel like we have been through so much as a family, so the celebration was much needed.

So Marysol came over a little later of course with dessert for Frankie, his favorite red velvet. I can feel Marysol's pain, because I've been in a similar situation, so I offered my best advice, hugged her, and reminded her that she needed to be strong.
