Gross! Kyle Richards Just Lived Her "Worst Restaurant Nightmare"
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom experienced a major gross-out moment in NYC.
It was far from the white-linen-clad tables at Villa Blanca. On a trip to New York City with her daughter Sophia, Kyle Richards stopped by a local eatery and got a big surprise — with a tail.
As she documented on her Instagram stories, Kyle and her companions were feasting on salads and brunch items at a casual-looking spot, when an unexpected visitor caused Kyle to jump on top of her chair in fear. As a rat scuttled under the table and then scurried onto the nearby windowsill, there was laughter — and disgust! — all around. "Holy Lord, I'm freaking out," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom is heard saying in the clip.
TMZ caught up with Kyle after the, er, infestation, and asked her to elaborate on the experience. (We're sure Kyle was delighted to relive the moment!) First, the Beverly Hills native revealed that she didn't even get a comped meal from the incident; rather, the restaurant gave her 50 percent off.
She went on to say: "That was my worst restaurant nightmare. I've had a cockroach, I've had a bug in my salad, I've had a number of things. But never an actual rat crawling next to my face." Still, Kyle's no rat herself.
"I'm not putting [the restaurant on blast]," she said. "Everyone's asking me. I feel too bad to do that. I don't want to ruin someone's business. They should get the rats under control; I did see them when we left, outside, too," she said, laughing.
Then again, New York is known for being on the cutting edge of culinary trends. Perhaps this was just the restaurant's take on the rat burger? It's so hot in Moscow.
