Kyle Richards Has a Gorgeous New Hair Color: “A Change to Lighten My Mood”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member debuted a lighter and brighter new look.
From a temporary bob to buzzed-about bangs, Kyle Richards continues to show that she’s not afraid to switch up her hairstyle. While The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member has recently been sporting her signature dark hair color, she debuted a whole new look on September 6.
“I thought I needed a change to lighten my mood,” Kyle captioned an Instagram video, set to Harry Styles’ song “Golden,” showing her new lighter locks. “Thank you [Dimitris Giannetos].” She also showed off the stunning ’do during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on September 7.
Many Bravolebs approve of the look. In the comments of Kyle’s Instagram post, RHOA’s Kenya Moore (who appeared with Kyle on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip) wrote “Love” alongside three hearts. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Gretchen Rossi raved it was “Soo pretty,” while RHOBH alum Yolanda Hadid called Kyle a “gorgeous Capricorn.”
This isn’t the first time Kyle has brightened up her hair. In 2020, she showed off a “new color,” a seamless blend of chestnut brown, caramel, and subtle honey blonde hues. Months later, in early 2021, she declared she was “changing it up” with a dark brown base and bold blonde highlights. While Kyle seemed to love both past looks, she told BravoTV.com in the video above that she once went a bit too light — and short — for her taste. “The biggest hair risk I’ve taken was cutting it off to here once,” she said, motioning to just below her shoulder. “And making it blonde, and making it all shaggy.”
She added, “It was not a good look on me.”
