See Dorit Kemsley's Stunning New Bridal Collection With Nektaria
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills designer channelled Old Hollywood glamour in her first foray into bridal fashion.
Dorit Kemsley's much-anticipated debut bridal collection with Australian wedding dress label Nektaria is finally here. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills beauty first announced her plans for the range of luxe looks on November 18, 2020, and she's been hard at work preparing for the launch. Now, brides-to-be can finally rejoice with this first look at her stunning array of gowns.
The longtime fashion industry vet explained in a recent Brides Magazine interview that her partnership with Nektaria started just a startling six months ago with meetings taking place over Zoom in the midst of the global pandemic. Luckily, Dorit's expertise in fashion design and all things luxury helped speed up the process.
Dorit brought her signature, show-stopping, high-voltage glam to the mix in the first selection of gowns that will be available exclusively through a series of trunk shows, starting with Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier in New York City. Brides can take their pick from Dorit's ornate designs that are centered around the principles of "luxe, glamour, and elegance," according to the brand.
With touches of Old Hollywood charm, Dorit designed the first six gowns with a decidedly "modern twist," as she explained. There's "The Actress", a strapless, beaded number with Swarovski crystals and pearls throughout.
Then comes "The Angel" with a high neckline, sheer details, and soft tulle.
"The Moment", a jaw-dropping style designed with "a big dramatic train you can wear...to the altar, and then you can take that piece off and it's a straight dress with a slit for the party," as Dorit offered in the interview.
Fans of smoldering romance will swoon for "The Pearl", a halter-neck dress covered in — you guessed it — 14,000 white pearls with a plunging, low back.
Dorit's "The Princess" style is a whole lot of look for ladies who crave their storybook moment in subtle shades of blush and touches of lace.
And lastly, there's "The Woman", a sleek, long-sleeved gown with a modern, asymmetrical neckline and daring, high-cut thigh slit.
And this is just the beginning.
