Yolanda: Fasten Your Seat Belts
Yolanda gives us an update on her health and family, as well as a hint of what's to come this season.
Hello Bravo Lovers,
I am excited to get back to our Tuesday night date nights. I hope you are well and that life has blessed you and your loved ones with love, health, and happiness lately.
In Malibu all is well, but way too quiet without my girls at home. I miss their company, snuggles, and dinnertime debates, but I guess all parents in my position are going through the same withdrawals for now.
Gigi is still in NYC, busier than ever with a big Tom Ford campaign under her belt. She is determined to be successful in her modeling career while studying criminal psychology at The New School.
Bella has also moved to New York, signed with IMG models, just shot for Teen Voque, and is starting up her career while studying photography/fashion at Parsons The New School for Design.
My son Anwar is in high school, playing football and soccer. Thank god he is still living at home, and I really get to enjoy his company.
David is doing great as well, working hard as always, making beautiful misic, being the extraordinary philantropist that he is all over the world, as well as running the David Foster Foundation. If you are getting a coffee at Starbucks by any chance, check out his latest Christmas album Merry & Bright.
I am still caught up in my everyday battle with Lyme disease. It’s a journey that seems endless at times. After all the medications and different protocols I have tried, I am functioning about 60-70% on a good day.
Even though I have learned to adjust to my new normal, the rebel inside of me is just not able to accept this silent disability. Lyme disease has become a fast epidemic worldwide. I am determined to help find a cure and figure out a way to share knowledge with the millions of people struggling with this debilitating disease. I am writing you from a clinic in Seoul, Korea as we speak.
All and all i feel very grateful and blessed for the ability to continue to search and most of all for the endless support of my family and close friends.
Anyway let’s get to the fun part of tonight’s premiere! I think this episode speaks for itself. It’s light, fun, and everyone seems to want to move on from all the negativity that plagued this group in the past, so please join us as we see how it’s all going to unfold in this exciting upcoming season.

After 50 years of trials and errors, I know now that most of the time people don’t change and when someone shows you who they are to believe them! I think that the most honorable people are not those who never make mistakes, but those who admit to them when they do. We learn from our mistakes and we should try our best to “right" the “wrongs” we've made.
I am excited for you guys to meet our new friends Lisa R. and Eileen, both really great authentic women that are adding a very much needed new flavor to our ensemble.
I am excited to be blogging with and for you over the next couple of months. I love and appreciate the time you take to share your opinions, even though we might not always agree, I respect your freedom of speech and respect this blogging process.
I am asking in advance to please keep things classy because the most powerful debates are spoken in a clear and respectful manner. All seven of us are mommies of children that are existing in the social media world, so please be sensitive to the power of your thoughts and words.
Alright here we go...Fasten your seat belts, because we are going for a fun, but sometimes bumpy and crazy, ride.
At the end of the day, we are seven very different but equally important woman that have feelings just like you but are willing to put ourselves out there to share and give you a peek into some of the most intimate moments of our lives.
I promise you, its going to be good!
Much love and a big hug,
xoxo
