The Biggest Beauty Lesson Kyle Richards Learned from Watching Herself on TV
There's one product the Beverly Hills Housewife now avoids at all costs.
It's one thing to get ready to go out to dinner with your girlfriends, and it's quite another to get ready for dinner with your girlfriends when it's being filmed for millions of viewers to see. While watching herself on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards learned very quickly that makeup translates differently on screen.
Kyle says she originally went in with the mindset of "big lashes, big lashes" and that the only time she wasn't wearing false eyelashes was when she was at home.
"I noticed whenever I would wear less makeup, people would greet me and say, 'I love your makeup [in this part of the episode], what did you do differently?' and I’m like, 'I barely had any on.' I started wearing less, so this season you usually see me with mascara and very seldom with lashes on in my interviews."

Kyle says she is still learning by watching herself and that she sometimes has to remind herself less is more. "The big lashes make you look older."
