Kenya Moore Shares How Daughter Brooklyn Is a “Fashionista in the Making”
The Real Housewives of Atlantacast member revealed how her little one is developing her own unique fashion sense.
Kenya Moore’s daughter, Brooklyn Daly, is proof that having a fabulous sense of style runs in the family. Over the past three years, The Real Housewives of Atlanta tot has dazzled in a handful of incredible outfits. Although she and Kenya often wear coordinating ensembles (including a set of glamorous fringe dresses and twinning white tees), Brooklyn has started to develop her own approach to fashion as she has grown older.
During NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation on May 16, Kenya opened up about her daughter’s emerging style. “Brooklyn is a fashionista in the making,” Kenya explained. “She wants to tell me what she wants to wear — the shoes, how she wants her hair with the dress, with the shoes, and what purse, and what bow she wants in her hair.”
And the 3-year-old doesn’t stop there. “Brooklyn needs to accessorize from head to toe, including figuring out the hair, the jewels, and the shoes,” Kenya dished.
As a matter of fact, Brooklyn has displayed her penchant for outfit trimmings before. Last February, Kenya shared a peek at an ensemble Brooklyn picked out herself, featuring an adorable pink and white puffer jacket. While Brooklyn opted not to wear pants or a shirt, she did indeed rock stylish kicks (bubblegum pink sequined UGG boots with lilac lining, of course).
In terms of how Kenya’s style contrasts with Brooklyn’s, the mom had her own take. “I mean, I don’t even think I’m that picky,” she laughed. “I’m just like, ‘Give me something to wear.’”
