Sheree: "This Cleveland Girl is Still No Pushover!"

Sheree Whitfield explains what she meant when she said she was "reformed."

The Aftermath of Kenya and Sheree's Showdown

Bravotv.com: What did you mean when you said you are reformed?
Sheree Whitfield: During my time away from the show, I've grown (mentally and spiritually). I've matured and I've become more at peace with myself and my surroundings. I must say that I’m in a much happier space. I took a lot of time to work on me. My mission was and still is to be a better mom, a better person, to be a better listener, to be a better business woman, a better friend, daughter, sister... I also took a moment to reflect on the past and certain situations, and I realized that 1. I don't have any regrets, 2. The things that I went through have shaped me into who I am today, and 3. Most situations and people are unworthy of stealing my joy today, even if only for a moment. So with that being said, I feel better equipped mentally, physically, and socially to pick and choose my battles. Now let's be clear, I have truly worked on myself and am proud of the work I've put in, but this Cleveland girl is still no pushover! She still resides in me, just tucked away. I will be the first to say that I am still a work in progress! However, being disrespectful or calling me out of my name when you don't know me in the midst of an argument may not always end well! Thank goodness for the girls catching my arm in midair and holding it down while prying the drink out of my hand before it went flying into someone's face. Ooh child.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Bravotv.com: What was going through your mind hearing about Cynthia’s marital problems?
SW: Having been married before and having dealt with infidelity amongst other things, I know it’s a miserable feeling and I don't wish that pain on anyone! I’m not sure if that is totally the case here, but as a woman, it's hurtful and humiliating to even think ill of your spouse or to feel that he's not being honest or trustworthy. It’s especially difficult to deal with when the situation is in the public eye and you have so many people in your ear. My heart goes out to her. I would say to Cynthia, you’re a smart girl, go with your gut, no one else can live your life. If you want your marriage, then work on it and remember that keeping the lines of communication open is important. It's hard work, but I know you have it in you! I wish them the best.

Bravotv.com: Were you surprised to hear about Kandi's issues with Phaedra?
SW: I was really surprised to hear about some of Kandi's issues with Phaedra. The way she voiced some of the issues, to me it sounded like she felt it was a one-sided friendship. We have all had our fair share of those in our lives, and we all know that those don't typically work out! I would like to hope and believe that isn't the case here and whatever issues they have can be worked out amongst them. Time will tell!
