Porsha Williams: Shamea Morton and I are Better Than Ever
Porsha Williams dishes on the status of her friendship with Shamea Morton and shares how she felt when meeting fiancé Dennis McKinley's mom.
Bravotv.com: Were you nervous about meeting Dennis' mom?
Porsha Williams: I was so nervous. I know how close Dennis is with his mom and I wanted her to like me from the very first moment. I have to say though, I expected that she would be curious since he hasn’t brought many women around to meet her. She must have known how serious we were, since I was being introduced so soon. But Dennis' mom is like any other mom and wanted to get to know me and where we were going with the relationship, so I wasn't bothered at all. I actually found it endearing.
Bravotv.com: What's the status of your friendship with Shamea?
PW: Shamea and I are better than ever. Every true friendship will go through ups and downs, but through it all we have learned to love one another better and be there for each other. I’m so excited to be pregnant at the same time as Shamea. It’s like a dream come true to be able to share this experience with someone I am so close to. I’m sure our little girls will become best friends in no time!
Bravotv.com: Were you surprised by Eva's reaction when everyone called her out about Shamea?
PW: Well, from my end, I felt that I needed to let Shamea know that there may be some ill-feeling still being harbored by Eva towards her. My goal was to let her know and hopefully they would find some resolution. In this group we love to put things out on the table, so why should it be any different for them? I know they can move past whatever petty issue it is that’s between them, it just takes Eva being honest with Shamea and like, "Listen Linda." LOL! I still feel a way about whatever is causing her to shade Shamea at the mention of her name! I think Eva said she didn’t know Shamea was pregnant. I'm not sure how that slipped past her on the blogs we all frequent, but hey, doesn’t matter. Eva is a good person and Shamea is as well, so I’m sure they will figure it out someday!
