The People's Poll: Which Star Was The Best Part of 'The People Vs. OJ'?
Vote for the star you think brought the best performance!
After weeks of waiting, nail biting, and glove wearing, we finally heard the verdict for The People vs. OJ Simpson. Although “The Trial of the Century” took place over twenty years ago, no one can deny that Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story was so well executed that you almost forgot you know the ending. While Murphy’s killer script and hours of courtroom footage created a stable foundation for the show, it was the cast’s stunning performances that captivated audiences.
“Sarah Paulson’s performance is so fabulous that she makes us believe we don’t actually know what’s going to happen” said The People’s Couch member Blake on Paulson’s portrayal as prosecutor, Marcia Clark. “Mail [Sarah Paulson] the Emmy” agreed Scott. Destiney commented on John Travolta’s portrayal of all-star lawyer, Robert Shapiro saying, “You want to be so serious and into this but when you see [Travolta’s] face, you just start laughing.” From Courtney B. Vance’s spot on, Johnnie Cochcran, to David Schwimmer’s Robert Kardashian, to Connie Britton’s fantastic portrayal of Faye Resnick, (the role she was born to play, may we add) the deck was stacked for this A-List cast.
You heard what the Couchers had to say, now we want your opinion! Who do you think gave the best performance? Vote below!
