The People's Poll: Which TV President Has Your Vote?

This week, the Couchers were pleasantly surprised to see Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone posing (in very soft lighting) as the Vice President in TNT's new drama Agent X. When they weren't salivating over new sex symbol, we mean, leading man, Jeff Hephner, they were beyond excited to see the siren on the small screen. As Scott exclaimed, "Oh, I buy it, I buy the whole thing," it got us thinking about other TV presidential portrayals.

While we would be living for Ms. Stone as our VEEP, what TV president would we want running our fictional country? While Tony Goldwyn as Fitzgerald Grant has the crinkly smile for days, our heart will always remain loyal to Josiah Barlett, aka Martin freakin' Sheen. And let's not forget about the incomparable Geena Davis in Commander in Cheif and the unforgettable 24 presidential portrayals by both Dennis Haysbert and Cherry Jones. We know all our colonies would be in great hands with Battlestar Galactica's President Laura Roslin's hands. Maybe we'd want Veep's funny lady Julia Louis Dreyfus running the oval - or even sinister Frank Underwood from House of Cards. Hey, he gets stuff done - including killing people.
