Making a Match: Patti Melts and Bravo Reunions

Season 8 of The Millionaire Matchmaker is one of the most dramatic ever. This time around, Patti Stanger is helping plenty of unlikely clients find love, from Stephanie Pratt and Larry Birkhead to Bravo's own Chris Manzo!

Each week, we're asking Patti to weigh in on every episode in her exclusive vlog. She'll tackle the good (Reza Farahan and Alexia Echevarria are in the clubhouse!), the bad (did Luke Rockhold really just carress Candace?!)—and the hilarious (did we mention Reza was here?).

This week I had two great clients. First up was Marysol Patton who you know from The Real Housewives, but she’s been a friend of mine for years. Her problem is confidence and she’s a little gun shy. As a woman that’s getting older she’s wondering "Will I ever find the one?" This is what I’m good at so I told her to bring some friends. So she chose Alexia who’s from her show The Real Housewives of Miami and Reza from Shahs of Sunset. And I’m like it’s a Bravo reunion, they were great!  Her main problem is that she doesn’t think she’s pretty which she is by the way.

My other client was an athlete, Luke Rockhold from the UFC, super hot. You know how I feel about athletes. The world caters to them, they get girls served up on a platter and it’s hard to change them unless they really want to change.

I decided to throw a huge sangria mixer with my new wine P.S.: Match. Reza and Alexia helped me find some really great guys, guys that had solid careers, that weren’t stuck in one place and might be perfect gentleman for Marysol.

Finally she picks restaurant owner Scott, a little quite but sweet and you can really tell he likes her. Then it comes to picking girls for Luke. We go through a whole bunch of hotties, but here’s the problem I don’t think Luke is in it for the long haul. I’m picking girls that are great for relationships and I think he’s looking for the booty call.

He’s hitting on my mixologist, Kara, who was there to help me make the sangria!     

He takes Kara out on something really romantic, jet skiing. Which would be fine, but it’s her getting into a bathing suit so he can see what she looks like. He just wants to get laid and when he comes back to the office I yell at him, go Matchmaker postal on him.

Thankfully Marysol had the date of her life. He’s actually romantic and takes her on a beautiful helicopter ride over the city, following up with wine tasting where they get to talk and get to know one another. Scott had it from the moment he saw her because next thing you know little shy Marysol is sticking around the corner kissing him. Fantastic! Go Scott, go team!
