Goodness Gracious
Millionaire Chris explains his children's book series and shares more abou his date with Yvonne!
This is definitely the first time I have ever been set up on a date through a reality show. I have had many friends and family set me up with eligible women over the past few years and had little luck as I have been too busy launching my own brand of children’s books the Goodness Gracious Club and going live with our website www.goodnessgraciousclub.com.
Being raised by my mother and grandmother who emphasized being polite to others and to always be a gentleman with ladies I was inspired to write my first children’s book Good Manners Are Fun. In first meeting with Patti I had to really rely on my considerate up bringing as she found many things to criticize me for right out of the gates! Her primary gripe was that I date women younger than me. Despite giving her legitimate reasons why I do so, Patti insisted on sending me to a relationship counselor. Always being the team player as I’ve written about in my second book Good Sportsmanship Is Fun , I chose to play along and not question her judgment.
When I got to there the counselor asked me to consider dating Yvonne without focusing on her age. Yvonne is a wonderful, athletic and beautiful young lady who to this day I still don’t know her age and don’t rightly care. We had a very nice time on our date. We went surfing and the waves were much bigger than I had anticipated, especially for a surf lesson. Fortunately, we were able to play on the inside section and Yvonne caught a couple of waves and stood up every time! Afterwards we proceeded to dinner without even a shower first which most women would certainly not agree to especially not when it would be filmed on camera for millions to see later. The dinner date was an incredibly surreal experience. Trying to be natural and enjoy another’s company while an entire crew is hovering around you is challenging, but I have to say the film crew was amazing. Everybody was super polite and professional and an overall treat to work with. Yvonne and I also became friends yet there wasn’t a love connection.
My favorite part of the entire show was when the crew captured a day in my life. They filmed me reading the Good Manners Are Fun and Good Sportsmanship Is Fun books to a group of young children. Teaching kids good manners and sportsmanship and how important these values are in everyday life is how I already market my Goodness Gracious Club brand; “one school at a time.” A sort of aka Mister Manners if you will but now I am bringing in professionals from all walks of life; doctors, fireman, policeman, beauty pageant queens and all types of everyday heroes that children look up to and therefore the kids will remember these important lessons even more. For further details on how to arrange a visit or to find out if I’m coming to a school near you please visit my website www.goodnessgraciousclub.com
Overall the filming of the show was a very positive experience for me and I found Patti to be very sweet and genuine. Although she may be tough and critical on the outside, she really is very warm and nurturing within. I am very grateful for this opportunity and look forward to soon meeting the right woman, my soul mate and best friend, getting married, having a healthy family and living happily ever after. The End.
