We Now Know the Exact Date That Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Lattes Will Return
Starbucks is bringing back its seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte sooner than you think.
Love or hate Starbucks' infamous seasonal drink known as the Pumpkin Spice Latte — and there are plenty of people in both categories — you'll probably want to get prepared for its onslaught.
Even though fall doesn't happen until late September, Starbucks is happy to announce that the PSL will be back in stores on August 28. According to People, 2018 marks the 15-year anniversary of the drink, which was initially going to be called the Fall Harvest Latte — fun fact! — but perhaps that had too many squash and root vegetable connotations to sound appealing. The publication also points out that it's "now" made with real pumpkin (which would naturally make one wonder what was in there before).
So, you've got a week before your favorite drink — or the one whose very name makes you roll your eyes — returns to Starbucks stores.
But don't worry, there's still a littttle bit of summer left to wring out between now and then.
