"I Made Queso!" Super Bowl's Saddest Snack Goes Viral
Fox News anchor Dana Perino probably wishes she ordered delivery for the big game.
Dana Perino might wish that she had gotten takeout food for the Super Bowl instead of making a bunch of hot, melted cheese that will be ridiculed on social media for quite some time to come (or at least for a few more hours until forgotten forever).
"I made queso," the Fox News anchor tweeted, posting a picture of her creation.
Nothing sets social media off quite like someone thinking they nailed it, when a dish could clearly use some work. And that was the case of Perino's queso, which looked like a bubbling cauldron of... something?
She received more than 1,000 replies to her tweet, and none of them appeared to express a desire to eat Perino's queso. Instead, her cheese became a crazy meme that even a few celebrities just had to tease her about on Twitter.
"I made queso," Blink-182's Mark Hoppus wrote alongside the notorious Fyre Festival cheese sandwich, while comedian Patton Oswalt wrote the same caption for a bubbling three-eyed monster.
Others wrote simpler posts. For instance just: "Dana, no!"
