Yolanda Foster is known for her healthy lifestyle, complete with an expansive landscape of lemon trees and the world’s healthiest refrigerator contents. But the Dutch beauty’s health has taken a hit recently due to chronic Lyme disease, and now she’s being honored for her devotion to finding a cure.

The Lyme Research Alliance (LRA) will honor Yolanda with the Star Light Award at the annual “Time for Lyme” gala next month in Greenwich, CT, the organization said in a release.

In December, Yolanda told her Twitter followers who suffer from the disease “I know this is tough, but ‘Together we stand strong.’ ”

She went into further detail about the effects of Lyme on her body and brain on Watch What Happens: Live. She even said Lyme is to blame for her calling Taylor Armstrong an “a--hole.”

This year’s LRA event will be co-chaired by reality T.V. alum-turned-fashion designer Ally Hilfiger.

“We are thrilled that Yolanda Foster will be joining us at the Gala and that she decided to raise awareness for Lyme disease,” Ally said in a release. “Thousands of people every year are forced to deal with the devastating effects of Lyme. By lending her powerful voice to LRA’s campaign to fund a cure, Yolanda will be helping countless people overcome this disease down the road.”
