Will Another NYC Housewife Jump into the Wine Game?
The Countess might be classing up your wine glass.
Fans of The Real Housewives of New York City's LuAnn de Lesseps may soon be able to toast The Countess with her own signature wine. Her new boyfriend, French wine importer Jacques Azoulay, may soon begin producing a sparkling rosé inspired by LuAnn, according to Life & Style. "He's always had the idea of naming a rosé in honor of his love," an insider tells the magazine.
Vino seems to run in the RHONY family -- Ramona Singer launched her signature pinot grigio earlier this year, and recently told us she plans to expand into a line of reds.
Life & Style asked LuAnn how she felt about having her own wine, and the idea suits the Bravoleb fine, but she already feels like she has it all. "I'm so glad I have a second chance in love with Jacques, What's even more important is that he loves my kids, and they adore him."
Neither Jacques nor LuAnn are telling which kinds of grapes might be involved in the sparkling rosé (typically a blend of reds and whites), or when the bubbly might hit the shelves. Betting it'll be dry and crisp with just a hint of strawberry – perfect for unwinding after a long day of recording, book signings, and or that trip to Morocco.
