Here’s the Real Reason Morgan Wade Got a Tattoo in Kyle Richards’ Honor, According to Teddi
See what Teddi Mellencamp had to say about the country singer's "K" tattoo.
If fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills aren't already familiar with up-and-coming country singer Morgan Wade — who has a "budding friendship" with Kyle Richards, per a press release for the upcoming Season 13 — they certainly will be once said season kicks off on Wednesday, Oct. 25.
Those closest to Kyle are already well aware of her bond with Morgan, but the RHOBH press release noted that a few of them may "question" the duo's friendship this season.
This includes Dorit Kemsley, as she can be seen asking Kyle about Morgan in the Season 13 trailer. More specifically, she inquires about one of Morgan's tattoos — a "K" — and the role Kyle played in her getting it. “You put the first letter of your name on her body?" she asks. "What is going on, Kyle?”

Why Morgan Wade Got a Tattoo Dedicated to Kyle Richards
On the October 11 episode of her and Tamra Judge's podcast, Teddi recalled speaking to Kyle on the day Morgan got her now-infamous "K" tattoo. According to her, the pair simply thought that the inked "K" on Morgan would be "so funny."
“The reason Kyle put a ‘K’ was because then she could add anything else she wanted to it," Teddi added. "They thought it would be a funny joke. But then, of course, it now has metamorphosed into so much more.”
And while some people have read into the tattoo's meaning, Teddi assured her listeners that the "K" is simply one of the many tattoos that Morgan has. “[She is not] super picky about the tattoos she’s putting on her body,” Teddi noted of the country singer. “If a letter ‘K’ was tattooed onto my body, it might be more of a red flag than somebody that probably has, I don’t know, over 100 tattoos.”
