You'll Never Believe Why Cameran Eubanks Named Her Daughter Palmer (UPDATED)
The origin story behind the Southern Charm tot's name is definitely not what we were expecting.

Shortly before Cameran Eubanks gave birth to her daughter, she confirmed that the tot's name would be Palmer Corrine Wimberly. There are any number of reasons why she may have picked that moniker for her little girl, but when she spoke to The Daily Dish a while back, she offered up an explanation we definitely weren't expecting. At all.
"A lot of people assume that it is a family name, but it is not. My husband [Jason Wimberly] actually came up with the name and I am convinced that it is from a movie. There is a Sports Illustrated model in this movie [Just Go With It], Brooklyn Decker, and the character that she plays, her name was Palmer," the Southern Charm mom said. "And so I think that is where he got it from." (Hey, Jason, care to weigh in?)
Well, there you have it. And, in case you're wondering if Cameran has her signature sense of humor about that origin story, this might clear it up for you: "She’s named after a Sports Illustrated model with blonde hair and big boobs. It’s not an old southern family name like you would assume."
